Today, Monday is Memorial Day.
This is when we honor those who gave their lives in battle to ensure we are free to think, free to speak, and free to pursue our own versions of happiness.
So, while you are free to do what you want, I recommend you pause for at least a brief moment in remembrance of those who died defeating the forces of fascism, imperialism, and yes, socialism—forces that stood in (and still stand in) diametric opposition to your freedom.
May our fallen brothers and sisters forever live on in the heavenly ledger of liberty.
